If you want to use an absolute path, you will need to at least create the
first directory as a mapping. Out of the box, "/" usually already exists (I
think), so your mappings will work. However, if you have multiple
applications on a single server, this may not be good (i.e., a hosted
environement, or an existing application already has placed "/" someplace
else instead of the WWWROOT).
For example, if you want to do <cfinclude template="/app1/dir1/dir2/dir3">,
then all you would have to do is create a mappnig for "/" or "/app1".
Just a question for ya: you mentioned ABSOLUTE PATH, but your example was a
relative path -- is this what you meant?
