First thing is first. Apparently you cannot enable server-side includes
along with a coldfusion site. Either the CF server or the SSI parser gets
control of the file (at least this is what I was told - should only need one
or the other anyway).
I don't belive you need to hack the registry for this.
- To enable SSI go to the IIS Internet Service Manager
- right click on the site that you wish to enable SSI for (I believe if you
choose the default website, it will give you the choice to apply the change
all the subsites) and choose Properties.
- Choose the Home Directory tab
- click Configuration at the bottom in the Application settings portion
- this will give you a list of a whack of .dll files.(Application Mappings)
- click add
- the file you want is winnt\system32\inetsrv\ssinc.dll associated with
whatever extension, presumedly .htm
This should enable SSIs for you.
