Bob,

We've used them on a few sites.

We haven't used them in a fusebox frames application, but we have used them
in a fusebox environment. Our problem was passing the #request.urltoken#
into the hierArrays.js which we solved by just putting the hierArrays script
in the head of our dsp_header.cfm file. I'm sure there are other ways
around that problem, but it worked for us.

Alternately, there is a custom tag in the tag library that is built upon the
hierMenus. It might work for you. Cf_crossmenu is the tag I believe.

Subject: HierMenus and Fusebox

Is anyone out there using HierMenus
(http://www.webreference.com/dhtml/hiermenus/index.html) with fusebox? I am
working on a framed fusebox site, and I'd like to use this menu script, but
I cannot seem to get it working. If I leave the fusebox behind, and just
create a standard frameset, and point the src of my frames to specific cfm
files - it works fine. But when I build my frameset via the index.cfm, and
point the src of the frames back to index.cfm to build the content of the
frames it does not work. The menus seem to be built (I see a message in the
status bar indicating that the menu was built), but they do not appear when
I mouseover the link.

If anyone has been successful using HierMenus with fusebox I'd love to hear
how you did it. Alternatively, if any of you have tried and not been able
to get it working I'd appreciate that as well, and it might give me the
incentive to give up and try something else.

Thanks,
Bob
