Alright,

There is little argument that Explorer has a more advanced rendering engine 
than Netscape 4.7x does.  But if you want your life go more smoothly in the 
long run - ONLY test your applications in Netscape 4.7x

If your site looks good in N4.7x - it will work smoothly in all other 
browsers and versions.  N4.7x forces you to write valid, compatible code.

You will inevitably have to make tweaks in N6 - but you should get used to 
that.  Validators are fine - but they're not as visual.

Of course, this is just my humble opinion.  But, if you are responsible for 
writing cross-browser compatible code - this is the only way to fly.
