That applet never works on my computers. I always just type the actual file
path in the text box and it works fine (i.e.,
"c:\inetpub\wwwroot\data\mydb.mdb").

Doesn't this work for you?

Subject: OT: problem with Coldfusion server enterprise 4.5

I'm hoping someone can help me on this,

I have installed 4.5 enterprise and all is well, however when I went to add
my first dsn and the plug in was installed to my IE 5.5 I think Norton
anti-virus 2001 screwed it up, the applet doesn't work so I can't browse to
the file. The plugging doesn't show in the add/remove programs box nor is
there anything is c:/program files/internet Explorer/plugging.

So I guess the question is how do I get rid of the botched install of the
plugging without a fresh install of the OS? I have run the ie setup again to
no effect and I also reinstalled cf server to no effect.

Has anyone been in this predicament?
