First off, I know nothing about any ban. However, I would say that the
behavior of Stanley Cox fits into the category of a "troll", someone who
posts something inflammatory or otherwise ridiculous for the purpose or
drawing other people into a flamewar or heated argument. This type of
behavior is generally plenty good reason to ban someone from a list or
discussion forum of any type. It severely detracts from the usefulness of
the discussion forum, and some could argue, even damages it permanently by
driving away members.
Having said that, we may indeed be falling victim to such a follow up troll
right now, as I have zero posts from Karl Kireson (@yahoo.com, a temp
account?) in my list archives.
Is Stan is a real person, needing real advice... After a warning to cut out
the crap, he should have. To my knowledge he didn't, and IMHO it was a
troll, and continues to be one in this thread.
