Before my eval copy expired, I was looking at VisiMap
(http://www.coco.co.uk/prodvm.html). Here's a Q&A from their faq on
importing:

Q: Can I import documents from other programs into VisiMap?
A: Yes, VisiMap can import from both RTF (Rich Text Format), MPX (Microsoft
Project Exchange) and ASCII text files. VisiMap can determine the structure
of the import files in a variety of ways (for instance, by using embedded
outline information, indentation or section numbering) and create a map with
this structure. body text found in the import file is added as notes to the
appropriate branches.

One thing I like about VisiMap is it works with a neat little Project
Management front-end called Project Kickstart
(http://www.projectkickstart.com/), although I haven't put the two together
yet.

The thing I didn't like about VisiMap is it's only 16-bit right now, but a
32-bit version is in the works. The price is a bit higher than the other
mindmapping software discussed here in the past, but being able to work with
Project Kickstart is a bonus, for me.
