Ummm.. I believe that ColdFusion scans the custom tag folder(s) only once,
when it starts. So there isn't really a performance issue storing custom
tags in different folders.
And I think you can set the CFMLTagSearchPath registry key to use more
than one location, I know Spectra adds it's folder to it.
