Okay, here is my lament, O you masters of the Spanish Inquisition...

I've built a fine lil' document library Fusebox app, for general document
management on our intranet.

The problem is, duh, the Verity search doesn't search Acrobat v.4 PDF, etc.
I know this is old news, we discussed this last week.

I've read the cool article at www.cfcomet.com regarding using MS Index
Server with CF, but hah, the catch is, I cannot run Index Server on my CF
box. You can't run Index Server with MSCS (never said clustering cured
-everything-...).

SoOoOo, I have to figure out how to do a remote call to the box running
Index Server. My knowledge of COM/DCOM is small/nil, so I'm asking y'all if
you know specific syntax.

I've tried { CreateObject("COM", "ADODB.Connection", "Remote", "[remote
server IP]" } and some variants of that, but it isn't clicking. I'm sure
there is probably something more to invoking a remote object compared to a
local object.

Any ideas?
