I've got a big wad of .PDFs that refuse to index; they fill the sysinfo.log
(located in the folder where this Verity catalog lives) up with: "msg(1):
Error E0-1514 (Drvr): TstrIOFilter:flt_pdf: Can't create second instance
of thread unsafe PDF filter"
Now, it does look weird, whats up with this 'thread unsafe PDF filter' biz?
Anyhow, this happens only with the specific breed of PDFs that I'm trying to
index. Older ones index just fine, including ones done in-house with Acrobat
4.0
I'm thinking Index Server might do a better job; both in the indexing and
its overall flexability with less than exact search criteria.
