De-lurking for a moment here...
I haven't read *all* the posts related to this yet, so maybe someone has
already addressed this, but why not just change formurl2attributes to
specifically create the structure "attributes"?
I.e., <cfset attributes=structnew()>. Then insert the vars into the
structure, rather than simply setting them as <cfset
attributes.var=somevalue>.
