Well, it's just such a problem figuring out what to get rid of!!

Anyway, don't blame me if the WireFrames app doesn't actually do anything
useful. It was all Stans's idea.

His idea was to make a simple data format that could be edited by an
end-user (ie someone not terribly code-savvy). The data would define a set
of pages or states. Each page would have a title, a description, and a
number of possible exits/events/links, each pointing to another page/state.

The wireframe app allows the user to walk through the states defined in the
data file, getting a feel for the flow of their application. A recent
addition (not Stans' or Hal's or Lee's idea, I forgot who suggested it,
sorry), is to allow the user to edit the data-file right there via the
wireframe front-end. In order to make this a little less dangerous for a
non-techie end-user, I have incorporated some simple version control. This
allows them to label any changes they make, and gives them the chance to go
back to any previous version, etc.

The demo on Bjork.Net may be a little confusing. It shows a wireframe of
the Wireframe application itself.

Hal and Stan could say more about the use if WireFrames in the context of a
complete development methodology. I'd say the idea is to hold the client's
hand a little while they drive the wireframed application around. They or
you can make changes, until the client is satisfied that the requirements
are captured in the wireframe. Then you rule it off, get them to sign their
name on the line, and away you go to make an actual prototype. Only now do
you begin to think about layout, etc.

So have a fiddle, and let us know if it does anything ;-)

THank for all the interest everyone,

Lee.
