Ruby isn't new (first public in Japan 1995); it just hasn't had much press over
here yet. It's really very elegant. Caveat: we're not talking web languages
per se here--Ruby is a full-on object-oriented language, and is far more
elegant than anything else I've seen under that banner. Tons of potential...
