You can also use a Stored Procedure that calls DTSRUN using xp_cmdshell.
This works well when CF and SQL are on separate machines.

  In addition to using the COM solution listed in the article below you can
use <cfexecute> tag to run the SQL DTSrum command (check SQL books on line
for how to use DTSrun) or you can schedule the DTS package as a job and run
it with the stored procedure SP_startjob (see book on line for detail on
that SP).
The COM and Stored Procedure I like the best because they are easier to get
error detail back from than a dos command.  Hope this helps.
