HI there, I`m studying Hal`s Grandfather XFB app as a starting point to
learning XFB. I know that one of the points of XFB is that each circuit can
be run independantly. Towards this, in each myGlobals.cfm file in Hal`s
app, there is a cfapplication tag starting a new application. I was
wondering if this would lead to headaches? I know the use of application
variables is not suggested in FB, but sometimes I find them necessary. What
happens to these when each circuit opens a new application? Doesn't the use
of all these different applications consume more server ressources? What
about when one circuit is used (copied) in several different larger
applications on the same server (we do ASP for small non-profit
organisations), do I have to make sure that all these copies have different
names? I would appreciate anyone who could clarify this a little better for
me.
