I do this all the time for development.

In "app_server.cfm" file use this line...
<cfset request.webroot="http:/127.0.0.1:8050/">

Subject: SOOT: port number in the URL?

Sort of of Topic:

In a fusebox app that I just moved to a demo server, the administrators
placed me in remote folder that is accessed via an IP and a port number, but
my fusebox links only carry the IP, so of course none of the links work back
to index.cfm (they should be 127.0.0.1:8050/index.cfm for example, but they
link back as 12.0.0.1/index.cfm)

Is there a quick fix for this, or do I just have to suggest that we start
using actual folder names as demo URL's instead of this port number thing?
