We're on 4.5(.2) here -- latest and greatest. Strangest thing is, I just
tested it and it works fine on our Production servers, so it's got to have
somehting to do with this (poor) old dev server. :( Low memory, perhaps...

UUID was introduced in CF 4.01. What version of CF are you on?
