Yeah, is there really a CF_BodyContent that uses lists?  Sounds interesting,
but I'm not really sure on what it would do.

Clue me in!

I'm confused by this. The handling of headers and footers is done in the
app_layout.cfm file.  Unless your using the really old one that had the the
layout built into cf_bodycontent tag, and even that one didn't treat the
header and foot variables as lists.
