I was being extremely sarcastic!!! NS6 sux for debugging and alot of stuff I won't go into now. NS4.7 is great because you just type javascript: into the url and it at last tells you the errors. If you'd like a good tool to learn with evaluate NetObjects Script Builder (even supports Cold fusion) http://www.netobjects.com/products/html/nsb3.html -----Original Message----- From: Douglas Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, May 18, 2001 2:58 PM To: Fusebox Subject: Netscape, and JavaScript Debugging At 04:27 PM 5/18/01, Kevin Bridges wrote: >However I'm about >to start sending hate mail to netscape for making debugging javascript in >ns6 sooo easy so I need a break. That interesting...a lot of developer's would like a better debugging tool for Javascript, and would probably switch to using Netscape just for that purpose. A better debugging tool is also a better learning tool, and Javascript was quite frustrating for me to learn, especially when I tried to write the scripts from scratch, instead of using the "copy and paste" method. I will have to download NS6, and try it out. In the meantime, can you list the new features that you find most useful and friendly? For example, do they have an object browser like VB6? That would be nice... ================================================ Douglas M.
