It seems as if a lot of us CF developers are facing
this issue. I came into CF from HTML with no
programming background. My new job is looking into
JSP/Servlets and has me learning Java. Needless to
say, it is kicking my butt.

I can see the power of OOP most definitely, but wonder
if it is really needed for 90% of what we do. I think
using everything is combination is definitely the way
to go.

On that same note, can anyone point me in the
direction of some good resources for CF'ers coming
into Java? I saw Ben Forta's articles on it in the
CFDJ but, alas, I don't have a subscription =:<
