Try looking through Nat Papovich's presentation for useful scripts for
frames in fusebox, including one that should do what you want:

Subject: Frames and changing display

Hopefully there are quick questions to this issue:
1. Recently someone mentioned in an email that they figured out how to get
out of the frames cleanly. I remember it being quite simple- unfortunately
I didn't bookmark the email and couldn't find it in the archives (my eyes
sometimes go a bit batty in the searches...) Anyhow it was a solution to
having a framed page and being about to open a totally new framed page
without the new page opening in the current frame. Does anyone remember
this?

2. On that same note. The navigation bar on my frame has a list of
students. Teachers must fill in lots of different forms on each student.
(new frame page for each form is what i'm planning). Is there a way to
change the target depending on which form the teacher is working on? Or do
I need to make a new navigational bar for each form.
For example here is the link in my current navigational bar
<A HREF="Index.cfm?fuseaction=UpdateGrade&PERMNUM=#PERMNUM#"
TARGET="EditMath">#LASTNAME#,  #FIRSTNAME#</A>
It will give an edit math page for any student that the teacher picks. On
the navigational bar I also listed go to reading go to writing, etc. These
are new frame pages (hence the need for answer to #1) and then the
navigational bar target will change to "Editreading", editwriting, etc....
Is there a way for that 1st navigational bar be versatile enough to know if
it should target math or reading or writing, etc.
