I already use XFB and nested circuits, I'm just about to look at using
BodyContent for the first time, but I'm also going to use frames(I think)

So I need a model for BodyContent for XFB and frames (different headers and
footers for each frame, including loading JavaScript and style sheets).

Cheers

Russ, I've just started using BodyContent and I think it's a fantastic tag.
It seems to me like we should be able to figure out a way to use this with
XFB's inheritance model so that each circuit can define its own app_layout,
so to speak. I'm hoping Steve or someone with more experience with this tag
can shed some light on this.

Check out the CFBODYCONTENT tag in the tag gallery at www.fusebox.org. I
used it when I was building sites with the regular fusebox method and it
works great for simplifying the process of using the same header and footer.
I have since abandoned it after moving to the XFB method. I like having the
control over whether or not to include the headers and footers for a
particular fuseaction.

I set 2 vars in myGlobals that points to the header and footer files and
then just include the vars in the cfcase statements. I have found that this
gives me the most control since I started nesting circuits,

myGlobals.cfm
<cfset request.site.headerfile="../../common/dspHeader.cfm">
<cfset request.site.footerfile="../../common/dspFooter.cfm">

index.cfm
<cfcase value="myFuseAction">
        <cfinclude template="#request.site.headerfile#">
        <cfinclude template="dspMyTemplate.cfm">
        <cfinclude template="#request.site.footerfile#">
</cfcase>

Subject: One site template

This is a fusebox newbie question. I have one site design template that I
would like to use in all of my circuit applications. This layout has a
header area, navigation to the left and a footer. What I imagine is
including my cfswitch statements in the middle of the layout. My problem
is, I do not understand how to go about reusing that 1 layout file in the
other circuits without making a copy for each circuits. Is there a way to
do that? If anyone can point me in the right direction or show some sample
code, it will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
