Wanted to send a quick note that we are using it Casio (as you could already
tell from the PR). It's not perfect, but it's certainly helping us out to
document our projects better. We still have had to do some manual tweaking
because version 2.1 didn't support XFAs, but I just downloaded 2.2 and
haven't had the time to try it yet. It if works like it says it will, I'm
really looking forward to testing it against some of our existing project
files.

You definitely need to spend some time to learn it, but I strongly believe
that it's going to be worth every bit of time we spend with it. Heck, if
you save 5 hours worth of labor from any one single project it'll pay for
itself.

Enjoy...

You can find out the differences between the editions here:

The community version is $499 (360 ex VAT in the UK), but the Developer
Edition is $2499 (1770 ex VAT in the UK). $500 is pretty cheap for an
application modelling tool.

The FB community version generates the core files, your circuits and the
"blank" templates for the pages specified in the design. I say blank,
because the pages contain the fusedocs for the action/display in that
template. Adalon doesn't write any code for you, only generates the file
structure, switch files and fusedocs.

Matthew,

Have a look here : http://www.synthis.com/support/adalon/index.jsp#tutorial
You'll find a few pdfs and a viewlet demo of the product that should help
you get started.

There is specific FB help here :
http://www.synthis.com/support/adalon/fusebox/index.jsp
and a discussion forum under the Support section of the synthis web site.

Hope that helps.

Stephen
