Ok this may cause a lot of feedback, but here goes. I know you're
SUPPOSED to seperate files into dsp_, act_, and qry_. Now the trouble I have
is this. One one page I am passing a url parameter of an group number. I
then have a switch file that has a qry based on that group number that pulls
out the items. Now here is the tricky part. I have to loop over the query to
display each item on thier own line. The problem is that I have to access
our AS/400 which tells me how much we have on hand, so in my dsp_ where I am
looping over I have included an act_ so that it can tell me if the item is
in inventory. Short of making another script that queries the AS/400
periodically to get inventory how would you go about doing it. One solution
I have thought of is using query of query to put the 2 queries together, but
that doens't really solve the problem. What have you done to solve this
problem?
