I was assuming it was the same reason you attach cfid/cftoken in a CF application, but I was wondering why it would be required in the URL for an otherwise static article. It doesn't seem logical to have a public article that requires a session to be instantiated and present in the URL just to read it. They must have some spiffy, I-will-decode-every-last-thought-of-yours, user-tracking software running in the background.
