probably better would be to variable-ize the "images" directory pointer: <img src="#fusebox.rootPath##imagesdir#something.gif">

That was it... kind of. Left over from FB2, I had request.imageroot defined in the app_locals of all circuits. In FB3, I se that you only need it in the home circuit.
