Agreed. Just like anything - sports, music, etc (yee hee - I'm
comparing myself to athletes and rock stars) - the difference between
mediocrity and success is whether or not you live/sleep your craft.

Outside? Stand? Man that would take a lot of energy.

No actually after I finish this layout I am working on I have to pack
for an
extended National Guard Drill this weekend. One weekend a month I get
to
pretend I am still the same young infantryman I used to be. Also on the
weekend you will notice that I post much less, my wife and son do get me
sometimes :)

I will say this though, this is a tough industry, especially if your are
starting out (I am only going into my second year as a CF developer, 6
doing
static web pages). If you are ambitious, and want to stay ahead of the
next
guy, it is a lot of work. I mean I am still taking courses, reading,
trying
new things. Plus I volunteer for anything, just to get the
name/brand/company recognition. Add into that a 2 year old, and
another,
the military, and a few other hobbies, and you will see why I at least
am up
until 3 AM almost every night. hehe It does however take it's toll on
you,
so once a month or so I sleep for a day and then don't even look at a
computer for the rest of the weekend (well except for the occasional e
mail
check, never know when an emergency will strike).

Just wondering? I see the same people posting here all day and all
night.
Do you guys every just stand up and look away from your computer, go
outside, or anything?

Just curious...
