Let's see... An Application is composed of Circuits. Each Circuit has its own directory. A Circuit only needs the core file if it needs to act as a stand-alone application sometimes. Each Circuit can implement Fuseactions, which are high-level, public functions. Fuseactions do not normally have their own file, but are defined and coded within the fbx_switch file. Fuseactions are usually implemented by calling Fuses. Fuses are small, atomic, private functions, each coded as a separate template. I hope that helps. Circuits are the highest-level components of an Application, and can often be used as Applications in their own right. Fuses, on the other hand, are the lowest-level components of an Application.
