Well, just hang in there, Bidllc,   I promise you... I have developed all kinds of appplications in all kinds of languages and architectures.  Fusebox is far and away the simplest, sweetest approach I have found.  I now use Fusebox principles in many contexts other than ColdFusion, and for many purposes other than web-based applications.
