Fbx_circuits only lives in the root. It  maps directory structure to circuits.
For instance, your fbx_circuits file might look something like this:

<cfset fusebox.circuits.home="home"> <!---- root directory --->
<cfset fusebox.circuits.admin="home/admin">

The only file required in sub directories is FBX_switch. The other files are optional. Variables set in the root FBX_settings file are inherited by child circuits. You may modify these variables for a child circuit by placing another FBX_settings file in the child circuit. The new value will be local to that circuit only (and any child circuits of that circuit).

Go to fusebox.org and download one of the sample apps. They are really helpful. Also download and install the fusebox help files.

Hope this helps,
Joel

Subject: Sub Circuits

Some basic questions about sub circuits.

I have a website with the structure:

www.mysite.com
www.mysite.com/admin

The Directory structure is simply

mysite
mysite/admin

I have, of course all of the fbx files in the root of the main site.

My question is, do I duplicate fbx_fusebox_xx.cfm, fbx_circuits.cfm, fbx_settings in the Admin root?

I have a lot of stuff in fbx_settings that control the basic operation of the site.  Seems a waste to duplicate all of that in the Admin root also.  It also creates errors when I change something like setting.mailto in the root fbx_settings.cfm and forget to change the same variable in the Admin version of the fbx_settings.cfm

Also what goes in the fbx_circuits.cfm

I will be glad to look a good example if someone can point me in the right direction.
