Mike,

You can set up your webroot in the FBX_Settings.cfm file of your application root. You can use self-posting pages with FB 3. Just remember that you'll be going back to the same fuseaction rather than pointing the form's action at the same page. For instance, if the URL that got you the form page was www.me.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.newUser, you would set the form's action to www.me.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.newUser.

It's perfectly OK to ask newbie questions, Mike. This is a great community. Welcome to Fusebox!

Subject: Newbie Question

Hello All,

I am very much a beginner with Fusebox.

I have two questions in Fusebox 3.0 where would I set up variables like the webroot and what is the recommended way to do that?

With fusebox is it recommended to use self posting form pages or not?

I know these questions are very basic and if they don't belong on this could someone direct me to a list for beginners.

Thanks in Advance.

Mike
