Ok, here's an update - here's my log.cfm code:

<cfparam name="url.fuseaction" default="">
<cfquery name="RecordHit" datasource="#request.logDSN">
Insert into logs
(remote_addr, fuseaction, http_referer)
values ('#cgi.remote_addr#', '#url.fuseaction#', '#cgi.http_referer#')
</cfquery>

If I then cfmodule this from my root fbx_layouts.cfm I get double entries
for fuseactions which are formed as circuit.fuseaction but if I call the
default fuseaction (naughty naughty) using 'circuit.' I get a single entry
in the log db.

I even tried the suggestion of calling the tag via:

<cfif not fusebox.iscustomtag>
        <cfmodule template="customtags/log.cfm">
</cfif>

Tom, perhaps you want to see if you get a double entry using the 'circuit.'
notation.

Please, can anyone shed any light on this...
