I've done this with javascript. <a href="newbodypage.cfm" target="body"
onclick="window.location='newnavpage.cfm'">

Or you can send a variable through the framset like <a
href="frameset.cfm?location=1" target="parent"> then do something like:

<cfswitch expression="#Attributes.location#">
        <cfcase value="1">
                <cfset navpage = "whatevernav.cfm">
                <cfset bodypage = "whatverbody.cfm">
        </cfcase>
</cfswitch>

Then in your framset tags use these variables.

Some ideas for you anyway. Somebody may have better ones.

Subject: Frames - Updating both simultaneously

Forgive me if this topic has been addressed - I did a search but didn't
find an answer.

I've got an old FB frames app - left side frame is a nav bar and the
right side is the content. When the user clicks on a link in the nav
bar, I want the relevant content to show up in the right pane *and* the
hyperlink on the nav bar to be disabled in the left pane (because the
user is on that page, no link is needed). In other words, both frames
need to be updated. The examples I see show only one frame being
updated. Can this be done in FB?

Thanks in advance.

-Andrew
