According to the docs
(http://www.fusioninventory.org/documentation/agent/installation/solaris/),
one can install the agent on solaris via OpenCSW.

However, this is not working, and it seems OpenCSW is unable to grab the
package via CPAN .. See the OpenCSW Q&A section .. It does seem as if
its a simple URL issue for pulling the package from CPAN

Is anyone looking into fixing this ?
OpenCSW packages are located on OpenCSW mirrors. See for instance here:
http://mirror.opencsw.org/opencsw/unstable/i386/5.10/

As with any other binary software distribution, the download only happens once, at package build time. And if it fails, it can hardly be missed by the maintainer... Myself, in this case.

So, what's your problem exactly ?
