CentOS 5.5 brings version 2.2.3.
And 5.8 brings version 3.1.7.
The difference disappeared after upgrading to CentOS 5.8.
Any idea why?
Compare raw lspci output in both cases. If they're really different,
this may be an hint.
Otherwise, you may also compare agent output with --debug flag enabled.
