Ahem, no, sorry to all: was my AV solution (Kaspersky) that interact
badly with the new installer and prevent him to complete.
The AV is the same, but evidently the 7/64bit engine is different from
the XP/32bit one. Boh.

The reboot is still a strange thing (surely the AV cannot trigger a
reboot, so the installer do that), and i hope will be investigated.
