OK, i can confirm that. I've tried to run FI agent with or without a
rule that match printers against name only (that i need for some broken
SNMP implementation, see my email on that subject) and indeed match
happens on S/N *AND* on name.

Or, differently spoken: on monitors, FI agent match against S/N,
normally ''rename'' the monitor but after that i can chage it and are
kept (as locked field).
On printers, FI agent match against S/N *AND* against name, in a way
that:
+ if S/N are the same but name differ, a new printer get created with
the same S/N and a different name
+ after creating a printer (with correct S/N and name), if i rename
it, FI create a new printer with the original name.

I hope this report can be useful, and the bug (if it is a bug...) get
fixed.

Thanks.
