Hi James, for Lenovo computers, this was a choice to avoid managing a big model dictionary on server-side.
By the way, it could make sens to set the computer system Version elsewhere. Maybe we can to something like: "Nice name (30A6xxxx)" ? I.e. I get Thinkstation P500 now rather than 30A6xxxx which is needed for warranty work etc. Getting both would be helpful, but the old 30A6 can always be googled, but different versions all show as P500s and I can't do the reverse. -- James Pulver CLASSE Computer Group Cornell University _______________________________________________ Fusioninventory-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fusioninventory-user _______________________________________________ Fusioninventory-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fusioninventory-user
