Breaking up a line based on the number of characters is not really copyfitting. It's certainly simpler logic, but unless you're always using fixed-width text, it's not going to be as accurate as actually measuring the text. (And even with a fixed-width font, spaces are not always output at exactly the same widths as printed characters.)
So, for best results, I would recommend using the CopyfitLine function, or one of the variations I posted earlier today.
