Yes, they are. To try and clear it up further:
The job has 42 records, with the only difference being the image name in the records. Yesterday, I had 41 of the records work with one failing, and so we just marked it off as "some kind of corrupted jpg". Today, with a different set of images, 80% of the images are having this problem. Again, weird thing is that they work in desktop mode, but not in server mode. I've nailed it down to "some sort of problem with the jpg" since that's the only thing different that matters here.
