I'm trying this again since I made a mess of my question yesterday. (apologies to all)
Is it possible to sequentially number different layouts in differing quantities? If I have a pdf with multiple layout pages and a database with a field containing records for Layout1, Layout2, Layout3, etc. -- I want 001-500 for Layout1, 001-250 for Layout2... If I made a rule to return the body page based on the field value, could I then determine that field value and compose differing quantities for each layout? (I realize I can just make separate PDF files for each Layout and do sequential numbering for each, but I've been trying to learn about rules and wondered if I could do it all from one file and one database.) thanks, kim +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Calling all FP Web Users!
