I have experienced InDesign CS2 Crashing when I try to export my PDF to
FusionPro. Below is some of the issues I've had.
1) It doesn't like locked layers or items in front of an intended
FusionPro variable frame.
2) It doesn't like to have intended FusionPro variable frames to be part
of a group.
3) If the linked images are very large size (This is a problem because
sometimes you need the large size to ensure quality printing. I've
solved this by using low res. images for the template pdf proof preview
and then having it drop out and be replaced with the higher res either
during imposition or an offline merge.)
4) If a linked image used a font for text that is not activated.
There are probably other possibilities so what exactly is the error
message saying??? I hope this is helpful.
