>Will the new version be compatible with newest Suitcase and Adobe CS3? Hello Scott,
Which version of Suitcase are you referring to? We haven't made any explicit enhancement for Suitcase versions support for the 5.0 release - support will be similar to that of which we have in the 4.2 release (current version of FusionPro). As for Acro 8 Mac (we DO support Acro 8 Windows) and InDesign CS3 support, those products will be supported in FusionPro 5.1 which we are currently developing for release by the end of the year. As you may have read on this forum previously, there is quite a bit of work that is being done to support the Intel Mac environment due to Apple's changes to their architecture which renders programs written for the older PowerPC Mac's incompatible with the latest hardware. We understand there is great need for support of these applications and are committed to delivering on that need. In the meantime, InDesign CS3 templates can be utilized in the FusionPro workflow although you will not have the specific ability to export variable frames and the color dictionary from the CS3 document. You can use CS3 templates by performing a simple export to PDF from InDesign CS3, opening the PDF in Acrobat, and doing the VDP personalization there. --Mark Hilger Product Manager Printable Technologies, Inc. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Calling all FP Web Users!
