FusionPro 5.0 is a major release of our VDP suite (which includes FusionPro Desktop, FusionPro Direct, FusionPro Live, and FusionPro Server). Among the new features in the 5.0 release are two MAJOR new pieces of functionality - variable text on a curve and "soft" drop-shadows for variable text. We will be supporting these Adobe products in our upcoming FusionPro 5.1 release which is currently in Development. Our current target is to ship FusionPro 5.1 by the end of the year. FusionPro Desktop 5.1 will be offered for FREE to all FusionPro Desktop 5.0 customers upon its release - another great reason to purchase the FusionPro 5.0 product at the limited-time upgrade price today! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Information for FusionPro Web Customers ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- Note that FusionPro Web, the Printable Web to Print solution, is currently undergoing QA testing with the FusionPro 5.0 VDP engine to ensure there is no interruption to your business operations. At this time, it is recommended that FusionPro 4.2 be used for templates that are to be uploaded to FusionPro Web. Look for forthcoming information from Printable Technologies regarding when FusionPro 5.0 templates are supported in the FusionPro Web production system.
