When you adjust the tracking (space between characters) in Quark XPress
(they call it "kerning") ... you enter a number. ('10', for example)
Try to adjust tracking in InDesign ... and the value '10' in Quark is
not the same as '10' in InDesign, and it is not the same as "<tracking
newsize=10> </tracking>" in FusionPro.
If a customer set the kerning of text (in Quark XPress) to '10', this
formatting is not retained when exporting a FusionPro PDF.
So, I assume the way to get the kerning back is to write a rule using
the <tracking> tag.
Is this the correct way to do this? What's the formula for translating
the kerning value in Quark into the tracking value in FusionPro?
