I see this happening a lot and am trying to figure out a solution.

In many of my templates, I leave the "static PDF background" on the template to check the placement of the variable frames. Usually, it's no problem to check the "suppress static PDF background" and all that prints is the variable frames.

Occasionally, some absolutely refuse to NOT suppress and some, like this morning, that HAVE been working, no longer do.

What is changed about the template to direct the composition engine to NOT use it? Is it controllable or changeable?

VERY useful feature - but it MUST work...

Ideas?
