I'm not sure what you mean by, "it wouldn't let me name the body pages
the same based on the data field yes and no." You should be able to
give the pages any names you want, regardless of whether they are the
same as field names in your data. That sais, in your case, I might name
the pages something like "Spanish1" and "English1", or "SpanishFront"
and "EnglishFront", instead of "Yes" and "No".
One problem I can see in the logic you posted is that you're not
accounting for differences in the case of the field value. The way your
rule is now, if the value of the field "SPANISH" is "yes" instead of
"YES", you don't get either set of pages. Also, you don't want to have
more than one "if" block, because you always want to do one or the
other, so I would just make it a simple if/else condition without the
second "if". You also seem to be missing a curly brace after the "else"
statement. You might have better luck with something like this:
if (ToLower(Field("SPANISH")) == "yes")
{
FusionPro.Composition.SetBodyPageUsage("3YES",true);
FusionPro.Composition.SetBodyPageUsage("YES",true);
}
else
{
FusionPro.Composition.SetBodyPageUsage("1NO",true);
FusionPro.Composition.SetBodyPageUsage("NO",true);
}
It might be even better to make the first line like this:
if (ToLower(Left(Field("SPANISH"), 1)) == "y")
