I have a project where a selection of articles are being placed on a page.
The articles are supplied as pdf files. The customer wants each selected
article to appear directly underneath the prevous. The articles all vary
in their length so each pdf file has the same width, but a different
height measurement.

I am able to place the graphics inline without a problem, but there is a
gap that appears between each article of about a half inch or more. With
this gap present, I can't place all the needed articles in a column. I've
tried everything from passing a leading value for "before" and "after" at
10 making the linespacing extremely small, coding the text block to remove
empty spaces, passig the graphic values without a line-break <br>, passing the
inline graphics in paragraphs specifying a small leading (10) value for
each paragraph, yet nothing I do will get rid of this extra gap.

There is no gap in place between the first graphic and the top of the text
frame, or between the bottom of the last graphic compared to the bottom of
the text frame, it only appears between the inline graphics.

I've made certain that there wasn't any "hidden area" in the pdf files
from possible cropping or masking. I've even re-created the articles in
Illustrator making certain that each graphic is exactly the correct size
with no extra space all around.

Is there another type of setting that I can put in place to make the top
of the underneath inline graphic touch the bottom of the above inline
graphic?

I'm using FP 4.1P1b on a Windows XP machine, and will be eventually using
template on FP Server.

Thanks,
