Hi Angie,

Please double-check the syntax of your rule. You need to make sure that
you are delimiting your string literals correctly. As posted, you are
indeed returning the string 'Field("Property1")' as part of a string
literal instead of calling the Field function.

The syntax highlighting in the Rule Editor (in FusionPro 4.2 or later)
should help you to spot this kind of condition; with the default
settings, the word "Field" should appear in light grey as a keyword,
instead of in red or light green as part of a string or character
literal.

Try this instead:

  if (Field("Property1") == "")
    return "";
  //else
  return '<f name="Zapf Dingbats">o</f>' +
    '<f name="CL Futura CondensedLight">' +
    Field("Property1") + '</f>';

Dan
