Has anyone experienced this (yet)?

When exporting a Fusion Pro document (with bleed) out of Quark 7 and then
composing that document using an FP Imposer imposition file, the bleed
comes out wrong -- specifically, the marks will be in the right place, but
the page image will be shifted up and to the left for the distance of the
bleed settings.

A less-than-elegant workaround works as such:

1. When you Export your document to Fusion Pro and you are prompted to
name the exported file, enter "0" in the lower lefthand corner under
"Bleed" box.

2. Continue on until Fusion Pro asks you for your data file. At this
point, click the Cancel button. Close the Fusion Pro PDF that was created
(you can choose to save it or not save it, it doesn't matter).

3. Go back to the Quark document and start the Fusion Pro Export over
again. This time, enter the correct Bleed amount in the Bleed box when
prompted to name your exported file. Resave it over the old version, and
choose "No" if asked to retain paragraph styles, colors, etc.

4. Proceed as normal. The bleeds should work as expected.

For some reason, it seems like starting off with "0" for Bleed resets the
bleed settings, and then sets the stage for entering the correct bleed
amount and yielding the right results.

Note: the following issue did NOT occur when exporting to FusionPro from
InDesign. This only seems to happen when exporting from Quark 7. This
worked normally when using the 4.xx versions of Fusion Pro and Quark 6.5,
so I'm not sure which is to blame.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks,

-Joe Ochwat
